The 2026 Tribal Lands and Environment Forum (TLEF) will take place August 17-20 at Chickasaw Nation’s wonderful OKANA Resort, which is also right across the street from the First American’s Museum in Oklahoma City, OK.

This is the 16th annual TLEF and last year the event attracted more than 550 participants, both in-person and online, including professionals from Tribal Environmental programs, the US EPA, state/local/federal agencies, and various community organizations. You can find more details on our 2026 TLEF Website or by viewing this short Highlight Reel.

We look forward to seeing you – whether in-person or virtually – at our annual “homecoming”. We hope you will submit a proposal and share your successes and lessons learned with your friends and colleagues so that we can all benefit from one another's learning.
